The AAACN Board of Directors has appointed Mary Blankson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, FAAN, to complete the Director term of Rachel Start, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, as Rachel has transitioned into the role of President-Elect.
A member since 2016, Blankson has served as Chair of the Future Volunteer Leadership Task Force and was a member of the Nurse Executive Task Force, which created the Ambulatory Care Nurse Executive Toolkit.
She has also been a speaker at several AAACN Annual Conferences.
“AAACN’s bravery to grapple with difficult issues facing ambulatory nurses is what attracted me, but their dedication to solving problems and being a resource is what keeps me engaged,” Blankson said. “I [am] honored to serve on AAACN’s Board as we work together to navigate the waters of this ever-changing healthcare environment.”
