Conference Scholarship for Nursing Students
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be seeking initial nursing licensure only - ADN, RN, BSN
- Applicant must be recommended by a current member of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN). Note: Applicants must be seeking initial nursing licensure only - ADN, RN, BSN. Applicant does not need to be a AAACN member to apply for this scholarship.
- Willingness to give back. e.g. How will you use your new knowledge to contribute back to AAACN and/or ambulatory care nursing?
- Willingness to write an article for a AAACN publication within one year of receipt of the award describing where you are in your nursing journey and how you feel your attendance at the conference will help you move forward to achieve your goals.
One scholarship of up to $1,000 will be awarded annually.

Conference Scholarship for New Nurses (Members in nursing less than 2 yrs.)
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Membership in the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) at time you submit your application.
- Willingness to give back. e.g. How will you use your new knowledge to contribute back to AAACN and/or ambulatory care nursing?
- Willingness to write for a AAACN publication within one year of receipt of the award describing your journey from nursing school graduation to competence in the profession of nursing and the benefits you have derived from this award.
One scholarship of up to $1,000 will be awarded annually.

Scholarship for Conference Attendance (Members in nursing 2 yrs. or more)
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Membership in the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) at the time you submit your application.
- Willingness to give back. e.g. How will you use your new knowledge to contribute back to AAACN and/or ambulatory care nursing?
- Willingness to publish article for a AAACN publication describing the professional benefits derived from the award.
One scholarship of up to $1,000 will be awarded annually.
