We are pleased to announce Marie Alonso as AAACN's new Media and Communications Director. Marie, an experienced journalist and communicator, will work with the news media to elevate the voices and presence of ambulatory care nurses and AAACN.
Marie replaces Janet Perrella-D'Alesandro, who worked for AAACN for 27 years in roles that included media relations, marketing, and managing editor.
AAACN has been my primary client for nearly 30 years, and the members and leaders will always have a special place in my heart. You are bright lights during dark times, and the way you serve others unselfishly continues to inspire me.
Thank you for making my job a joy, mostly due to watching how all of you walk in this world, overcoming challenges to keep patients safe and healthy. How beautiful is that?
